ROLE TITLE: Junior Associate Brand Manager, Calendar Planning

COMPENSATION: $78,800 - $92,700 depending on experience and qualifications


The Junior Associate Brand Manager, Calendar Planning is a key role driving the project management practice at KFC US. This role is responsible for partnering across the marketing team to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery that support KFC's full calendar vision. The "JABM" will work across all Calendar projects (including being highly involved in cross-functional teams of key projects) assisting the Brand Managers to drive accountability in all phases of the project and is a key piece of KFC US continuing to deliver same-store sales growth in 2021 and beyond. This is an ideal role for a developing marketer, with skilled project management exposure, looking to grow into a broader marketing leadership role in the future.


* Run Point on Project Timeline Manager for Key Growth Projects (60%) – Partner with Calendar Team and Cross-Functional partners (Consumer Insights, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Training) to ensure key strategic projects for the business/calendar are delivered on time and on budget.
* Support Calendar Projects (30%) – Assists Brand Managers in test & national projects as needed, building foundational skills to grow into Brand Manager role; builds industry knowledge by helping Brand Managers build competitive analyses as needed
* Test Market Budget Management (10%) – Partners with Calendar Team & NCAC (National Council and Advertising Cooperative) Leadership on managing the $6 million annual test market budget


* Education/Certifications – Bachelor's Degree a plus but not required (preferably in Marketing, Finance, or Management)
* 0-2 years' experience, starting out your journey in the marketing function
* An appreciation and understanding of how to manage projects in a complex environment
* Some exposure to a consumer-focused brand, ideally in a retail environment
* Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and intellectual curiosity
* Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable working with cross-functional teams to support execution of multiple initiatives being delivered at the same time
