Drive and support strategic initiatives for KFC U.S. through development of strategic opportunities, cross-functional influence on strategic initiatives, and ownership of overall supply chain responsibilities for the brand.


* Development of Strategic Opportunities (30%)
* Collaborate cross-functionally to identify big strategic priorities for KFC.
* Perform financial modeling, and provide clear success metrics, to support prioritization of projects.
* Complete test market analysis to support business case for new product/promotion/strategic pipeline, and influence cross-functional teams to ensure KFC is pursuing easy to execute, sales- and profit-driving initiatives.
* Influence franchisees within test markets, as well as the franchisees on the Test Market Task Force.

* National Execution of Strategic Promotions (30%)
* Evaluate, in coordination with cross-functional team, business case for national execution of each strategic promotion.
* Responsible for projecting financial impact of and influencing KFC Corporate and Franchise Board (NCAC) leadership team to approve initiatives.
* Play a key role in KFC Corporate, NCAC & RSCS (Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions) presentations, ensuring decisions are made based on ability to supply, sales-driving opportunity, profitability, and other relevant success metrics.

* S&OP Forecasting (20%)
* Own base business and promotional supply chain management for KFC Corporate.
* Deliver accurate system-level annual forecasts to the RSCS on all key items.
* Assist RSCS with flexibility/contingency planning, as well as building a sales growth mindset.

* Ad Hoc Reporting (20%)
* Perform various ad hoc initiatives to support the business as they arise.


This position has direct 1:1 interaction with KFC Chief Financial Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, KFC Marketing Leadership Team, KFC Operations leadership, NCAC/NMS franchisee members, RSCS, and KFC cross-functional team members.


* Education/Certifications – Undergraduate Degree from accredited 4-year university –Finance, Accounting or Business Management required, M.B.A. - Preferred
* 5+ years of experience in Strategy, Financial Planning or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication skills with ability to play a key role in influencing on large strategic initiatives
* Demonstrated ability to work with senior management teams and partner effectively with a range of cross-functional groups
* Superior analytical, financial modeling and overall problem-solving abilities
* General knowledge of restaurant business model
* Must be proficient/advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Power BI
